A fire that destroyed a Levin church hall could be linked to recent arsons in the town.
The building at the LevinLife Church was used for a children's church until it was gutted by fire around 1.45am yesterday morning.
It has now been pulled down with heavy machinery.
A police spokesperson said the fire is thought to be suspicious, and they were investigating.
They were also looking into several fires set in rubbish bins and on properties in the south east of Levin, and would like anyone with information about the church fire or other recent fires to contact them.
