Four women in Papua New Guinea have reportedly been murdered in recent days with the killers accusing them of using sorcery.
The deaths happened in Enga, Eastern Highlands and Western Provinces.
An Enga based Lutheran missionary and advocate for the victims of sorcery related violence, Anton Lutz, has condemned the killings of innocent people by superstitious mobs.
Ruth Kisam from the PNG Tribal Foundation said in the past month there had been 20 other reports of sorcery accusations and torture across the country, leaving hundreds of internally displaced people.
She is demanding justice for the victims.
Using sorcery as an excuse for violence has recently been outlawed in PNG but there have been few convictions.
