Researchers have developed a tool to help locate missing shareholders of Māori freehold land.

They have used a so-called "flaxroots" rethink of how technology can be used alongside communities to locate landowners.

Sydney Shep and Rere-No-A-Rangi Pope worked on the project and explain to Jesse how they have taken a cultural approach with technology to create the system.
