New Zealand's V8 super car drivers have qualified first, second and third on the grid for Sunday's 200 kilometre race at the Winton 400 near Melbourne.
Scott McLaughlin won his first ever pole position in the competition and the first for the Volvo team ahead of Shane van Gisbergen and Fabian Coulthard driving Holdens.
Yesterday, Coulthard and van Gisbergen came first and second in the opening race
after qualifying at the front of the grid.
In Saturday's second race Coulthard again started from pole position next to McLaughlin.
Coulthard was beaten into third place behind race winner Lee Holdsworth while McLaughlin finished last.
