Tai Tokerau MP Hone Harawira has criticised the Prime Minister's State of the Nation speech for failing to acknowledge Maori or the Maori Party.
John Key used the speech on Wednesday to outline a more intense focus on getting the Government's books back in shape. He warned public spending will be further reduced.
Mr Harawira said he was disappointed that Maori were not mentioned.
