Fiji wants to send more food to NZ

Fiji's Agriculture Minister says he's focused on reversing the growing trade imbalance with New Zealand.

The Minister, Inia Seru-i-ratu, has told a fresh produce forum in Auckland the quality and reliability of Fiji's exports needs to improve.

Exporters and marketers say it's possible, but it'll be a slow process for agriculture to catch up with Fiji's tourism sector as the number one earner.
