2 appointments for A Sam delegate

American Samoa's Congresswoman-elect, Aumua Amata Coleman Radewagen, has been appointed to two committees in the United States' Congress.

Aumua won last month's election for the territory's non-voting delegate in Congress, defeating long-term Congressman Faleomavaega Eni Hunkin.

She has been assigned to the House Natural Resources Committee which has jurisdiction of fisheries, wildlife, ocean and insular affairs.

She has also been appointed to the House Committee on Veterans Affairs.

Aumua Amata will be officially sworn in on the 6th of January.
