The body of a woman has been found near a motorway off-ramp north of Auckland.
Police were alerted to the incident in Silverdale after a member of the public found the body just before 8am.
The immediate area has been cordoned off.
Police said the woman's death was still unexplained, and investigations were in their early stages.
