A Fiji court has remanded three men charged with sedition and inciting communal antagonism in custody until September.
Timoci Nagata, Pita Camaimoala Vakatawa, and Saimoni Nacolawa appeared in the Tavua Magistrates' Court today.
Mr Nacolawa's lawyer made an appeal for bail on medical grounds, but the court said a formal bail application would need to be made and ordered that he be taken for medical examination.
The case has been referred up to the Lautoka High Court for mention on the first of September.
