Police have charged two people and impounded two cars near Tokoroa after boy racer events earlier this year.
Officers were first called to Mamuku South Road in late June, where they found someone driving dangerously in front of police before fleeing.
Police found and impounded the car, and a 20-year-old was called to appear in court for sustained loss of traction and driving while disqualified.
Officers were called to another boy racer gathering in Tokoroa last month, after which they seized another car.
A 19-year-old man was summoned to court on driving charges.
