The Lions fullback James Kamana has been banned from Super Rugby for three weeks after a judicial committee found him guilty of dangerous play .
The New Zealander marred his first start for the Johannesburg franchise in the southern hemisphere championship by spear tackling a Cheetahs player during a 25-20 victory in Bloemfontein.
Kamana will miss matches against Western Force and Queensland Reds at Ellis Park and defending champions the Bulls in Pretoria.
