A man who murdered his ex-girlfriend and her young daughter and hid their bodies under an Auckland bridge has lost his appeal.
Kamal Reddy strangled Pakeeza Yusuf with the cord of an iron in 2006, and used a pillow to kill her daughter Jojo.
The bodies were only discovered in 2014 - eight years after their deaths - when Reddy confessed to undercover officers during a "Mr Big" police investigation.
He was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum non-parole period of 21 years.
The Court of Appeal today dismissed his appeal against his conviction.
