Covid-19: Auckland businesses call voucher scheme a lifeline

Auckland businesses are calling it a lifeline - a voucher scheme that's got locals exploring their own back yard.

The government funded $9 million programme kicked off late last year offering $100,000 vouchers to tourist attractions in the region.

People who applied went into draw - now there are $11,000 vouchers left and a bonus draw today.
