South Africa's humiliated New Zealand in the second cricket test, crushing the Black Caps by nine wickets on the third day in Hamilton to go 1-0 up in the series.
The hosts were bowled out for 168 in their second innings shortly after lunch with man of the match Vernon Philander nabbing a six-wicket bag.
That left the Proteas to chase just 101 for victory, which they easily achieved in less than 90 minutes with captain Graeme Smith hitting the winning runs with a four.
Smith ended 55 not out with Hashim Amla on 46 and the victors a very comfortable 103 for one.
The third and final test starts in the capital on Friday.
