The Papua New Guinea government of Peter O'Neill is releasing its 2019 Budget today.
The Post Courier reported that Deputy Prime Minister and Treasurer, Charles Abel, will hand down the 2019 Budget along with a supplementary budget for 2018.
Immediately after the release of the Budget parliament will be adjourned for a week because of the APEC meetings.
The government is expected to maintain its key policy areas in free education, free basic health care, infrastructure, law and justice sector and the push to implement the agriculture policy to grow the economy and encouraging small to medium sized businesses.
