A fire broke out on board a plane at Auckland Airport this morning.
Fire and Emergency crews were called to the scene on the tarmac at 7.15am.
The fire was on board an Alliance Airlines charter plane.
Shift manager Paul Radden said the fire in the auxiliary power unit was put out by on board extinguishers.
Firefighters and engineers were standing by.
An airport spokesperson said no one was hurt and there were no delays.
