Guam delegate to the United States Congress, Michael San Nicolas, has easily won the runoff election.
Pacific Islands Times reports that Mr San Nicolas, a Democrat, got 59.6 percent of the votes cast, defeating former congressman Robert Underwood, in Tuesday's runoff election which had just a 31 percent voter turnout.
He got 10,326 of the 17,355 votes cast.
Guam has more than 55,000 registered voters.
The Democratic Party said the recent victory by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris paved a promising path for Guam.
