A 26-year-old Taranaki man has been arrested and charged with the murder of Feona McKay-Patea, who was found dead in early October.

The man is due to appear in the Whanganui District Court tomorrow.
Police said the investigation into Ms McKay-Patea's death was continuing and still wanted to hear from anyone who had information that could assist them.
Earlier in October, police launched a homicide inquiry when a woman's body was found in Lee Street in the Whanganui suburb of Castlecliff.
