Taylor's form no concern for Hesson

The form of dumped New Zealand cricket captain Ross Taylor's become a talking point after his disappointing comeback in the Twenty20 series loss to England.

Taylor's dropping catches and failing with the bat, scoring just six in yesterday's rout in the series decider in Wellington and averaging only eight in the T20 series.

Taylor appears low on confidence but Black Caps coach Mike Hesson says he's a quality player and the one dayers will give him a chance to develop an innings.

The opening game of the three-match one day series is in Hamilton on Sunday.
