A person has been arrested in relation to an assault at Lower Hutt's Motutawa Avalon Park in late December.
They have been charged with unlawful sexual connection, robbery, and impeding breathing.
Police had previously sought information from anyone in the vicinity of the public toilets next to the Avalon Park Pavilion at 11am on Saturday 28 December.
They were interested in sightings of a white male with blonde hair, aged between 14 and 17 - including whether he was seen entering or leaving the toilet block.
