The main road between Glenorchy and Queenstown will remain closed overnight, after a massive slip.

The Queenstown Lakes District Council said a large amount of debris was still covering Glenorchy Road and contractors were working to clear it.
The council said the road was "impassable and dangerous", and water was pouring off the hillside.
More rain is forecast.
The council said it would have further updates about the road tomorrow morning.
