A child has died after being hit by a vehicle on a driveway on Watling Street, in the Auckland suburb of Epsom.
Police were called to the scene at about 8.46am on Tuesday.
The child died at the scene.
Watling Street is closed between St Andrews Road and Morvern Road.
An investigation was underway and the Serious Crash Unit was attending.
Police said they were ensuring the family had support.
