The International Cricket Council has confirmed there will be Hawkeye ball tracking technology and Real Time Snicko available to review decisions, but the difficulty in installing the necessary cameras across all venues has prevented them using the hot spot - which uses infrared to detect edges on the bat.

The New Zealand all-rounder Grant Elliott says it's not a big deal for the players, who are used to playing without any technology to assist umpires decisions.

The ICC says it will review the entire DRS system following the World Cup which starts in Christchurch on Saturday.
