A total of 182 people have received King's Birthday Honours for their service to the community or as recognition of their achievements.
Areas of contribution include arts and media, business and the economy, community, voluntary and local services, education, health, science and technology, services to the state, and sport and recreation.
Former prime minister Jacinda Ardern has been made a Dame Grand Companion of The New Zealand Order of Merit.
Six New Zealanders have been appointed knights and dames: Dame Jo Brosnahan, Dame Teuila Percival and Dame Helene Quilter, Sir Stephen Kós, Sir Selwyn Parata and Sir Wayne Smith.
