Police have made another arrest in their operation to target anti-social motorcycle users in Rotorua.

A 21-year-old has been charged with reckless driving and would appear in the Rotorua District Court next week.

They were seen allegedly riding dangerously through the suburbs, cutting through traffic, pulling wheel stands and not wearing a protective helmet.

This was the latest development in Rotorua Police's ongoing operation targeting illegal trail and dirt bike offenders that were making roads unsafe.

Two other arrests had been made and seven bikes seized in the last month.

Anyone who witnessed any anti-social road user behaviour was asked to immediately call 111, or make a report to 105 if it was after the fact.
