The owner of the Fiji Times newspaper, its editor and a former publisher have been found guilty of contempt of court.
The case brought by the Attorney General involved an article containing a quote attributed to the General Secretary of the Oceania Football Federation, Tai Nicholas.
The article was originally published in a New Zealand newspaper.
The Fiji Times reports the newspaper's owner Fiji Times Limited has been found guilty as well as the publisher at the time, Brian O'Flaherty and editor Fred Wesley.
High Court judge Justice William Calanchini found there was a real risk to the administration of justice in Fiji.
The paper reports the court is to set a date for mitigation before sentencing.
