One person has died in a house fire in Auckland on Saturday morning.
A fire crew was called to Ballarat Street in Ellerslie about 2.30am to find the blaze at the property well underway.
A spokesperson says one person was found dead inside the house.
Another person has also died in West Auckland following a car crash at the corner of Universal Drive and Lincoln Road in Henderson, just before 3am.
