Three people have been left with injuries from disorder and assaults, with police officers scrambling to a firearms incident in Auckland and a fight in Hamilton.

A person was discovered with injuries after a firearms incident in the Auckland suburb of Wiri early on Sunday morning.

Police were called to Felicia Place at 1am on Sunday, after a report of disorder involving two groups of people.

Shots were reportedly fired before one of the groups left.

One person was found injured, and taken to hospital.

Police are investigating the Wiri incident, and have called for anyone with information to make contact.

In Hamilton, two people suffered moderate injuries after a fight between a group, near Hamilton Airport overnight.

RNZ was told there have been reports that a gang was involved, but was not able to confirm that.
