Don't let lockdown stop you calling your doctor

There is concern with all the focus on Covid-19, people who are seriously ill with other conditions are leaving it too long before seeking medical help.

General practitioners are doing most of their consultations on line or over phone to limit contact - many made the move before we officially went into lockdown.

ProCare represents more than 137 practices across Auckland with more than 800,000 enrolled patients. It's clinical director Dr Allan Moffitt says people are putting-off consulting a doctor.
