Firefighters have brought a blaze under control at an industrial building in the Christchurch suburb of Hornby.
The fire broke out in Waterloo Road about 7.15am.
Crews managed to stop the fire spreading to neighbouring properties.
A fire investigator will examine the scene to determine the cause.
