An Invercargill man has been arrested after a stand-off with armed police this morning.
Police they were called to Oteramika Road about 10:45am, and found a man barricaded in his house.
They said the armed offenders squad arrived and cordoned off the road around the property.
During the incident a car was set on fire on the property and the man ended up on the roof.
He was taken into custody just after midday, but police said he was yet to be formally charged.
