Samoa will take to the field in both the men's and women's tournaments at the third-tier sevens competition this weekend.
The event, known as SVNS 3, will take place in Dubai on 17 and 18 January.
Tonga is also competing in the men's event.
The Manu Samoa sevens will play Colombia, Hong Kong and Tonga in pool play in Dubai, while the women's team is grouped with Argentina, Colombia and Poland.
Three sevens debutants have been named in the Manu Samoa Sevens - Faamanu Apolone Pone, Eletise Ese and Kyan Joseph Brett Alo.
Uaina Sione and Owen Niue will co-captain the men's team.
The women's team includes sevens newcomers Janelle Fereti, Faalua Tugaga, Taytana Pati Ah Chung and Melina Salale.
Fogamanono Tusiga and Saelua Leaula co-captain the Manusina Sevens.
The top two of both the men's and women's competition will graduate to the second-tier level of sevens.
The first of three second-tier competitions gets underway in Nairobi next month.
The top tier of world sevens resumes in Singapore at the end of the month, with South Africa, Fiji and New Zealand tied on points at the top of the standings.
Australia and New Zealand are both on 38 points at the top of the women's ladder, with Japan third on 28.
