Hamilton says Red Bull taking the mickey

McLaren's former world champion Lewis Hamilton says the Red Bull team were so dominant at the Monaco Grand Prix he feels they were almost "taking the Mickey" out of their Formula One rivals.

Australian Mark Webber and Germany's Sebastian Vettel finished one-two in the season's most glamorous race and are now level on points at the top of the drivers' championship after six rounds.

The 2008 world champion says Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel were streets ahead of the rest in Monaco without even pushing. But he's confident McLaren can close the gap at some stage and put the pressure on.

Hamilton was 5th in Monaco, and his world champion teammate Button retired on lap three after a mechanic left a bung in a sidepod, blowing his engine.

Round seven is in Turkey next weekend.
