Samoa is putting out the welcome mat this week for Hollywood veterans who are coming to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the making of the movie, Return to Paradise.

The movie, shot at one of Samoa's most popular beaches, Lefaga Beach, starred Gary Cooper and Roberta Haynes, and introduced Samoa to the world as a fun loving island community in the South Pacific.

Miss Haynes, who still has a fale named after her at the legendary Aggie Grey's Hotel in Apia, is expected to make the trip.

Included in the cast were well known locals Moira MacDonald, Hans Kruse, Leulu Felise Vaa and Freida Keil Paul.
