Hawke's Bay motorists are being warned about delays on the Napier-Taihape Rd, as workers clear logs that have fallen off a truck.
Police said a logging truck and tractor collided near Fernhill about midday.
The tractor driver was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Police said one lane was closed and asked people to avoid the route if they could.
