Two men have been seriously injured in a boating incident in the Marlborough Sounds.

A member of public informed the police about the accident just after midnight.
They were found at Portage, off Kenepuru Rd, near the marina.
One man is in a critical condition and the other has serious injuries - both have been flown to Wellington Hospital.
Police said they did not know what had happened, but informed Maritime NZ who confirmed it was investigating the circumstances.
