A weak recovery to the New Zealand economy has had an impact on the TAB's six-month result.
The New Zealand Racing Board has released its turnover and profit figures to January this year.
Chairman Michael Stiassny says turnover was down $30 million to a total of $800 million.
Mr Stiassny says people are still watching their spending. However, the TAB recorded a profit of about $69.6 million during the period.
