A fire that erupted at a commercial in building in Onehunga this morning is now mostly extinguished.
The unit that caught fire is a storage facility for hair care products.
About 50 firefighters tackled the large blaze when it was at its height this morning.
Fire and Emergency said it was called to the incident on Neilson Street just before 6am.
It said the building on fire has two storeys and is around 50 metres by 100 metres.
Eight fire trucks and three ladder trucks were at the scene at the peak but that has been reduced to around a dozen crew members who are dampening down hotspots.
Meanwhile, firefighters have now extinguished a house fire in Avondale which broke out about 4.30am this morning.
About 20 firefighters were fighting the blaze at the property on Blockhouse Bay Road.
