The Australian Navy has intercepted another boat carrying asylum seekers off Flying Fish Cove at Christmas Island.
The federal government says 66 asylum seekers and three crew members were on board.
The ABC reports group was being taken to Christmas Island for health and security checks.
The ABC reported on Friday that another boat carrying 56 asylum seekers had been intercepted near Scott Reef in Australia's north-west waters.
The boat was first spotted by a surveillance plane before being stopped by a border protection boat.
Earlier, two boats carrying asylum seekers were intercepted in waters north-west of Australia.
The navy said one of the boats was towing the other.
The federal government says 74 asylum seekers and three crew members were on board.
