The jury in a violent kidnapping case has retired for the weekend.

Nicola Jones, Julie-Anne Torrance, Michelle Blom and Cameron Hakeke face charges relating to kidnapping a woman on two separate occasions.
The Crown has said the 19-year-old victim had been abducted, beaten and sexually violated before being driven to a road in the Dome Valley bush, north of Auckland.
There she was throttled, an attempt to break her neck was made and she was hit in the head with a hammer up to 10 times before being left for dead.
Justice Whata summed up the case over four hours today and at the conclusion of his address, the jurors indicated that they wanted to retire for the weekend.
They will begin considering their verdicts on Monday.
Jurors this morning heard the last of the closing adresses from defence lawyers.
Cameron Hakeke's lawyer, Graeme Newell, said text data from his client's phone showed that Mr Hakeke was not at the address at the time of the attack.
The victim has told the court that Mr Hakeke sent her text messages, inviting her to his West Auckland flat for a drug deal, and that when she got there she was attacked by Nicola Jones and Julie-Anne Torrance.
