One person has died following a serious crash in Dunedin this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the car crash on Blackhead Road just before 2pm.
The police say enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
Meanwhile, a person has been seriously injured in a two-car-crash on State Highway One near Waiwera South between Balclutha and Clinton.
Police were called to the scene on the Clinton Highway just after 5pm.
The road is closed and diversions are in place. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
