Fiji Airways passengers travelling to Funafuti in Tuvalu may experience disruptions to their flight and could be denied boarding.
The FBC said this was due to the lack of fuel in Tuvalu.
It said the issue had been ongoing since last week.
The shortage of fuel means inbound aircraft need to carry sufficient fuel for the return journey and are therefore carrying extra weight.
More aviation fuel is expected to arrive in Tuvalu next week.
