Happy birthday Taiaka Waititi, thank you for being lovely, making friends with lots of cool celebs and creating this exquisite image to help us through these dark days.
ALL BLACK SPELLING SCANDAL
The Aaron Smith airport bathroom sex story is BACK AGAIN with a bunch of screenshots being leaked by the woman with whom he dallied, once more bringing us the incomparable joy that comes from the misery of others.
As if the nitty gritty details of the tryst weren’t ghoulishly titillating enough, it has escaped few that Smith is less than adept at spelling and grammar, particularly in his use of the word "affidavit".
And really, what’s funnier than mocking the education levels of young brown New Zealanders based on a series of private messages they assumed no one would ever see?
We can only hope this devastating personal drama will continue to provide us all with entertainment for many more years to come.
GUY WILLIAMS v THE NZ HERALD
In a Twitter scuffle that is exactly the kind of Twitter scuffle I just can’t get enough of, comedian Guy Williams slammed the New Zealand Herald over a suss front page.
And after several tense exchanges with Herald journalists, it seems Williams was heard! The Herald announced on Thursday that they would be launching a premium section to help differentiate between coke ads and longform investigative pieces. Phew!

LORDE v WHITE SUPREMACISTS
Everyone’s favourite woke white people representative Lorde apologised on behalf of her people for the horrible racist state of the world in the wake of the tragic events in Charlottesville at the weekend.
Of course the white supremacists weren’t psyched and now Lorde has Nazis @ing her day and night. Our thoughts are with her at this difficult time.
