Participants at a recent three day conference on Solomon Islands proposed federal constitution are unhappy with the absence of Guadalcanal's eight Parliamentarians.
Provincial Assembly member, Teddy Babaua, who represents a ward in east Guadalcanal, said the absence of the national MPs is a sign that the leaders are not serious about the proposed reforms.
The Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation reports that the Federal Constitution Conference was organised to hear the views of Guadalcanal leaders on the reforms.
