PNG opposition alleges deceit over 2019 budget

The 2019 Budget, released last week, provides for expenditure of US$4.74 billion set against a revenue envelope of just over US$4.16 billion.

With the expected deficit high at around $US550 million, or two percent of GDP, the government's critics say it's another budget masking an economy under serious strain.
