White Ferns take lead in T20 series against West Indies

The White Ferns have beaten the West Indies by five wickets in the third T20 in Antigua.

The tourists won the toss and chose to bowl first, restricting the hosts to 93 for 9 from their 20 overs, with Fran Jonas taking three wickets.

The White Ferns then chased down the victory target with eight balls to spare to take a 2-1 lead in the five match series.

Maddy Green top scored for New Zealand with an unbeaten 49.

The White Ferns had been struggling at 11 for 3 before Green steadied their innnigs.

New Zealand won the second game, with the West Indies winning the first.

Game four is on Thursday morning.
