Four people have died in a house fire in Mangere.
The Fire Service were called to the blaze in Nicola Place at 12.45am on Tuesday: 10 people were at the three-bedroom house at the time.
Four were taken to Middlemore Hospital, two of whom were in a serious condition.
Crews from five fire trucks took an hour and a half to bring the fire under control. One crew is still at the scene.
It's believed the fire began in the kitchen.
The Fire Service says a thorough investigation will begin when the bodies have been removed from the house.
