A teenager has been charged over the stabbing of a man who was sitting in his parked car in the Christchurch suburb of Dallington.
The man was approached by another, who attempted to rob him, on Sunday night.
The victim, who is 30, was stabbed in the chest and arm, before fleeing his car.
On Thursday police arrested a 17 year old Christchurch man and charged him with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He will appear in Christchurch District Court on Friday.
