A cyclist has died after a crash in the east Auckland suburb of Mount Wellington.

The crash on Marua Rd was reported to police about 7.54am.
The road has been closed to motorists.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance and will examine the scene.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash will begin in due course.
