Air Tahiti Nui has recorded a profit of almost $US22 million in the past financial year.
The net return for French Polynesia's international carrier was less than half of what it was in 2015 but the carrier remained profitable for a fifth consecutive year.
The airline had a slight drop in revenue to just under $US350 million despite a 1.4 percent increase in passenger numbers.
It said it carried 480,000 passengers who accounted for 71 percent of the territory's market.
The airline's load factor was over 76 percent.
